Benefits of insulated roller garage doors
Insulated roller garage doors combine security, insulation and convenient electric operation in a compact design. Because the door rolls vertically into a box above the garage opening, it makes efficient use of both the driveway and the space inside the garage.
Beretta offers two insulated roller garage door options – the BD55 and BD77 – allowing the door to be selected according to the available headroom, opening size and level of insulation required.
Insulated construction
Both the BD55 and BD77 use twin-wall aluminium slats with foam-filled insulation. This construction provides thermal insulation and can help to make the garage a more comfortable and usable space, particularly where the garage is attached to the home or used as a workshop, gym or utility area.
The BD77 uses a larger 77 mm insulated slat and provides a higher level of insulation than the more compact BD55.
Ideal where headroom is limited
One of the main advantages of a roller garage door is its compact vertical operation.
The BD55 is particularly suited to garages with limited headroom because its smaller slats and more compact box require less space above the opening.
The BD77 uses a larger shutter box because of its larger insulated slats, making it the preferred option where additional insulation is required and sufficient headroom is available.
No obstruction on the driveway
Roller garage doors open vertically and roll into the box above the garage opening. Unlike doors that swing outwards, they do not require space on the driveway to open.
This means you can park closer to the garage door without preventing it from operating, making roller garage doors particularly useful for properties with short driveways or limited parking space.
Made-to-measure for your garage
Every garage opening is different, which is why Beretta roller garage doors are made to measure.
The doors can be fitted internally, within the reveal or externally to the face of the garage opening, depending on the building and available space. This provides greater flexibility when dealing with unusual openings, restricted headroom or existing features around the garage.
Electric operation as standard
Both the BD55 and BD77 are electrically operated and supplied with a remote control system and two key fobs. A built-in courtesy light, safety edge system, safety brake and manual override are also included.
Smart-device operation is available as an optional upgrade, providing an additional way to control the garage door.
Security for your garage
A closed garage door provides an important physical barrier between your home and the contents of your garage. Beretta roller garage doors use robust aluminium slats and enclosed mechanisms, while the flush design avoids external handles that could otherwise provide a convenient point of attack.
The safety and operating systems are designed to provide secure and reliable everyday operation.
Colours to complement your home
Beretta roller garage doors are available in more than 20 standard colours, with colour-matching options available where you want the garage door to complement existing windows, doors or other external features.
The aluminium door box can also be powder coated to a RAL or slat colour where required, subject to the specification.
Which roller garage door is right for you?
The BD55 is the more compact option and is particularly suitable where headroom above the garage opening is restricted. It can accommodate openings up to 2,800 mm wide.
The BD77 provides increased insulation and is suitable for larger openings, up to 5,500 mm wide, where sufficient space is available for its larger box.
If you are unsure which option is most suitable, Beretta can advise on the appropriate door based on the opening dimensions, available headroom, insulation requirements and how you use your garage.
