Beretta Insulated Roller Garage Doors

At Beretta Security Doors, we have two options for the insulated roller garage doors; BD55 Roller Garage Door and BD77 Roller Garage Door. The BD55 is a more petite roller door, which will roll up into a smaller box, ideal for garages with limited headroom, whereas the BD77 has more insulation, resulting in a larger box, using more headspace.

Both of these doors are made to measure and can be fitted internally or externally, reducing use of internal headspace, using minimal indoor and outdoor space.

The BD55 and BD77 Roller Garage Doors are both double skinned aluminium roller doors with thick foam inserts. This helps with maintaining temperatures within your garage and provides a level of sound proofing.

Insulated Roller Garage Door operation

Our Roller Garage Doors are electrically operated and installed with a built in courtesy light, 2 remote key fobs, safety edge and a manual override as standard. Both of our roller garage doors are made to measure and have a vast range of colours. Beretta roller garage doors can also be colour matched to any external windows and doors to ensure it complements any current household features.

Internal or external fitting

The door opens vertically and the curtain will roll neatly into the box installed above the opening; they can be fitted internally or externally. This reduces the use of internal headspace and doesn’t take up any internal or external space. Meaning you can make full use of your driveway and park close to the garage door without obstructing its operation.

Our roller garage doors act as both a visual deterrent and a physical barrier to prevent any break-ins. Beretta garage doors are flush so don’t have any door handles, this will make gaining access more difficult for any potential intruders.

BD55 Roller Garage Doors

Our BD55 Roller Garage Door is ideal for garages with limited headroom as the insulated slats and box sizes are more petite in comparison to our standard BD77 Roller Garage Door. This Beretta door comes electric with key fob operation as standard, with the option to upgrade to smart device operation. We have a vast range of colours to choose from and can be colour matched to any external windows and doors.

Benefits of Fitting Insulated Roller Garage Doors

Enhanced Energy Efficiency and Thermal Performance

Insulated roller garage doors provide excellent thermal insulation, helping to maintain a stable temperature inside the garage. This is particularly beneficial for garages attached to the home, as it can reduce heat loss during colder months and minimise heat gain in warmer seasons. By improving thermal performance, these doors contribute to overall energy efficiency, potentially leading to lower heating and cooling costs.

Space-Saving Design and Convenience

The vertical opening mechanism of insulated roller garage doors allows them to roll up neatly into a compact box above the garage opening. This design maximises usable space both inside the garage and on the driveway, enabling vehicles to park close to the door without obstructing its operation. Such a configuration is ideal for properties with limited space or short driveways.

Noise Reduction and Acoustic Benefits

The insulation within these garage doors also serves to dampen external noise, creating a quieter environment inside the garage. This feature is advantageous for homeowners who use their garage as a workshop, gym, or additional living space, as it helps to minimise disturbances from outside sources.

Durability and Low Maintenance

Constructed from high-quality materials, such as twin-skinned aluminium slats filled with insulating foam, insulated roller garage doors are designed for durability and longevity. The robust construction ensures resistance to wear and tear, while the materials used require minimal maintenance, maintaining their appearance and functionality over time.

Enhanced Security Features

Security is a key consideration for any garage door. Insulated roller garage doors often come equipped with advanced locking mechanisms and reinforced materials, providing a strong barrier against unauthorized access. Some models include features such as direct connect locking systems and integrated alarms, offering additional peace of mind for homeowners.

Customisation Options

Homeowners can choose from a variety of colours, finishes, and styles to match the aesthetic of their property. Options include different slat sizes, wood-effect finishes, and the inclusion of vision slats for natural light. This level of customisation ensures that the garage door complements the overall design of the home.

By improving energy efficiency and reducing the need for excessive heating or cooling, insulated roller garage doors contribute to a lower carbon footprint. The materials used in their construction are often recyclable, and the enhanced thermal performance supports sustainable living practices.
